When To Start Thinking About Booking Your Senior Pictures

I get this question asked A LOT: When should I book my senior's session

And my answer is: Sooner than later!

You can never book your senior portrait session early enough. I usually book 2 to 3 months in advance. Just an FYI, school holidays book up really fast.

Some things to keep in mind when choosing your senior session portrait date:

Yearbook Deadlines

As crazy as this sounds, the deadlines can be as early as late October early November. Be sure to check with your school especially if you wish to purchase a yearbook ad.

Fall Sports

Fall sports keep you pretty busy all summer with practices. If you know you will have a heavy summer schedule, you may want to book a session either the spring of your junior year (crazy but it makes sense) or make sure you get on the books early for a late summer session. Get this task completed before classes and games start.

Graduation Announcements

If you insist on a spring session of your senior year, keep in mind you will want to have them done at least 4 weeks prior to when you want to send out your graduation announcements. Above all, please do not wait until the last minute as time might be against us with getting announcements designed and sent out on time.
