University of California, Davis
I love shooting on the University of California, Davis campus. There are so many textures to find and so much versatility. We can shoot along the UC Davis Arboretum walking path for that outdoor feel. While walking the path we can do some great bridge shots on a couple different bridges. We can also shoot by the water next to Mrak Hall and while there say hi to all the resident ducks. To get a different feel, head over to the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art and have a grey textured building as a beautiful back drop as well as get some great shots at the parking structure next to the museum.
Love the vibe at Mare Island in Vallejo. The abandon buildings and brick walls and you can find a little park too if you are looking for some greenery! If you are looking more for an urban vibe, I highly recommend Mare Island. So may options here if you don't mind scouting and checking things out.
Downtown Vacaville | Andrews Park
Another great place is right here! Heading downtown and mixing it up with park setting in Andrews Park and some shot on the streets and side streets of Vacaville. Downtown buildings have a great historical look and we can get some urban as well as park like, greenery shots by heading into Andrews park. Like the photos on bridges, well Andrews park has two! So if you want to stay local and represent your home town for your senior portraits, I would suggest downtown Vacaville and Andrews park.
Who knew!! Winters, CA is a quaint little town and I love shooting there! They have the Putah Creek Bridge, a creek and just the side streets have a-lot of character! After your session you can grab so great food at Buckhorn Steak House or if you in the mood for some fantastic mexican food, check out Chuy's Taqueria one of our favorite places to eat when in Winters!
The options are endless! Want a city scape? We can do that. Want beach vibe, got you there! We can head to Stow Lake in Golden Gate park and get a variety of shots along the walking path.
